The VJC | 2.28.11

Throughout Hip-Hop there have always been artists and people in the mix who are not as widely known or even heard of by fans of the music. But within the scene they are very respected and heralded by those who are at the forefront. One such group that continues to push the envelope and work for their moment in the spotlight is The Vinyl Junkie Clique (VJC). On this episode of Ill Street we had the pleasure of having 7 members of the VJC call in from LA, The Bay, ATL, and NYC all at once to rap with us about who they are and how they've managed to continue to grow stronger despite being so spread out. Our resident DJ and co-host 2-Tone Jones (who is also a member of the VJC) served up a set on the wheels of steel that displayed just how dope and talented the VJC is, both lyrically and on the production side. Check it out right here!
